For the Thanksgiving Table

This year for Thanksgiving I am headed to Beer Bitch’s parents. To put it simply they are not “beer people”, although her brother does enjoy a decent beer. Last year I took Pullman Brown from Flossmoor to Thanksgiving. This year I am going to change it slightly and take Bell’s Best Brown and Post Road Pumpkin Ale.
Much like the Pullman Brown the caramel flavors of Best Brown should pair nicely with the roasted turkey and savory stuffing on the table. I have been wanting to try a Post Road Pumpkin Ale with pumpkin pie, but always forget to save a bottle for Thanksgiving. I expect the spices in both the pie and beer to accentuate each other, although to be honest, I am a bit scared it may be too much pumpkin.
Anyways, have a Happy Thanksgiving and feel free to leave a comment of what you put on the holiday table.
