The Illinois Craft Brewers Guild has tickets on sale for their November 12, 2011 Festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beers. The annual festival features a number of taps from breweries close and far. It is not unusual to see the occasional entry from breweries such as Kona Brewing alongside more local options like Goose Island and all the regional Rock Bottom establishments. The one thing all beers have in common are they are aged, and in some cases very rare. Attendees will receive 16 tasting tickets, a souvenir glass and program. Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door. CAUTION: This event almost always sells out. You can get more information and buy tickets here.
