Otter Creek Brewing Expects No Disruption From Explosion

The Addison County Independent is reporting an explosion at Otter Creek Brewing in Middlebury, VT. Apparently a fermentation tank succumbs to pressure and gave way. Damage to a second small tank occurred, but no structural damage and no injuries occurred. Unfortunately, billions of yeast cells lost their lives in this disaster. Via their Facebook page Otter Creek expects full production to resume this week. Reports also show enough supply in warehouses to meet current market demand. The good news here is it appears from reports that this is a very minor bump in the road for Otter Creek and we wish them the best!
